Just as I was about to write a mini review of the porn video chat Luxecams.com, which had recently reopened, it went ahead and kicked the bucket. No, it's not completely dead, but for a good while now I haven't spotted a single model online there.
There was talk that models weren't being paid the money they earned for staying in the free chat (one of the search queries that brought people to this blog last month: «"luxecams.com" ripped off for money»), but the reason is probably not that, but rather the lack of any sensible promotion strategy for the site. Models, even though they were paid for the free chat, weren't exactly thrilled about a video chat with no users. And no users means no new models. No models means no users. The usual story in webcamming.
So, after the official temporary closure of Primecams and the unofficial exit of Luxecams, Ruscams and Video-Girl currently have no competitors left in the Russian-language internet. Primecams and Ruscams remain in my list of porn video chats in the "In hibernation" category.
