The most complete list of sex video chats that ever existed on the Russian internet

Alive and well

Sex video chat RusCamsRusCams (early 2008)

The flagship of Russian webcam. Thanks to serious investment and a professional approach, this sex video chat has been running steadily for more than four years now. A huge selection of girls online, round-the-clock support, a user forum, and the ability to check things out for free — these are just a few of this videochat's advantages.

Sex video chat Video-GirlVideo-Girl

Bills itself as "the first erotic videochat on the Russian internet!" And indeed, this sex video chat started operating back in 2007. Since then it's been continuously delighting its users with a large selection of models online, a steady flow of visitors, and low prices (not free, of course, but noticeably cheaper than the flagship). There's also a developed affiliate program for those looking to make money.

Sex video chat Video-BoyVideo-Boy (spring 2008)

A project from the creators of Video-Girl. Probably the only sex video chat on the Russian internet aimed at male models. While at first it seemed like this one wouldn't take off, nowadays you can regularly see more than ten models online. I admit it surprises me, since the internet is full of men willing to show the exact same thing for free.

Thank god, still alive

Erotic videochat Runetki.comRunetki.com (early 2012)

A new erotic videochat with the slogan "on Mars — Martians, in Japan — Japanese, on the Russian net — Runetki" opened quite recently, but thanks to a smart promotion strategy, it's been delighting visitors with a large number of models online right from its very first days.

Barely alive

Porn video chat Elita-Girl.comElita-Girl.com (summer 2012)

Elita-Girl is one of the porn video chats that launched in 2012. It gives the impression that some modeling studio released a chat for its own girls, and then let anyone else who wanted to work and earn there as well. The idea itself is quite reasonable. On top of that, the project tried to bring something new to the Russian webcam scene. More...

Sex videochat PushMe.tvPushMe.tv (late 2011)

PushMe launched in December 2011 and immediately brought a breath of fresh air to the Russian webcam scene. The chat's business model, widely used in the Western webcam industry, was a novelty on Russian soil. The key feature of this approach: only three models show their shows on PushMe at the same time. Each show lasts 1 hour, after which the models rotate. Watching the chat is always paid, but the price is very small. Unfortunately, this project, which launched successfully and reliably delighted people with cute naked girls, can now boast fewer and fewer models online. More...

In hibernation

Sex videochat StripHotGirls.comStripHotGirls.com (early 2012)

In February 2012, a porn video chat with the bold name StripHotGirls saw the light of day. Creating, promoting, and administering the site was handled by just one person, who bought a webcam site engine and tried to make a quick buck. But given today's competition, the project didn't last long and quickly went dormant. More...

Porn video chat Pipcams.comPipcams.com (late 2011)

The last porn video chat launched in 2011 was Pipcams.com — an international project aimed at Russian models. At some point support for the project stopped, and now it doesn't have a single model online. More...

Sex video chat Zavisay!Zavisay! (spring 2010)

This isn't really a sex video chat so much as a general-purpose video chat that offered models a place to earn money on it. The idea never caught on. Notably, even a simple sign-up on the site wasn't free — you had to send a paid SMS.

No longer with us

Sex video chat CamsPlanetCamsPlanet (summer 2011)

CamsPlanet — one of three sex video chats launched in 2011. Its promotion strategy targeted neither models nor visitors, and so CamsPlanet was soon left with neither. It hung on for a while, but there was no real activity, and now it has closed for good.

Sex video chat PrimecamsPrimeCams (summer 2010)

The PrimeCams sex video chat showed a lot of promise, but was sold off right after launch. The new team tried to promote the chat. They started off briskly, worked actively with models, and pulled in decent traffic. But due to a large number of technical problems it closed for reworking indefinitely. That indefinite period ended in early 2011, when a relaunch attempt was made. Despite an outward appearance of success, some internal issues turned up and the videochat was closed again for rework. For a while Primecams displayed a "The site is under construction" message, but now it's no longer available at all.

Sex video chat LuxeCamsLuxeCams (summer 2010)

The chat started operating in the summer of 2010 and shut down its activity almost immediately. The technical solution chosen to build the interface led to some navigation problems. The reasons for stopping activity aren't entirely clear. Most likely, it was due to insufficient funding combined with a large number of technical problems. In early 2011 the administration tried to relaunch the LuxeCams sex video chat, but it didn't work out. For a while after this latest failure the site kept running with no models and no visitors, and now it doesn't open at all (by the way, ads offering to sell this videochat's engine have popped up online).

Sex video chat VideosexiVideosexi (early 2010)

This sex video chat started operating in the winter of 2010. As a promotion tactic it actively spammed RusCams' models online, apparently hoping for free advertising. It started off decently, paying out money and bonuses. Currently it doesn't open.

Sex video chat CentroChatCentroChat (late 2009)

This sex video chat billed itself as "a chat built on a new technological level with no analogues in the world." It used installable software for video broadcasting. The admin proved to be a bit of an odd character. The videochat died almost immediately, but stayed in a state of hibernation for a long time (you could sometimes even find one model online on the site).

Sex video chat VideoerochatVideoerochat (fall 2009)

Was open until the end of 2010, but is now firmly dead.

Chatinlive (fall 2009)

Shared the fate of many others.

LlChat (summer 2009)

Didn't live long.

Sex video chat LonlyLonly (summer 2009)

For a long time it displayed the message: "Unfortunately, no models are currently online." Then it died.

Sex video chat UvidalUvidal (spring 2009)

Showed a lot of promise but never lived up to it. During its promotion phase, links to it were scattered very generously all over the internet. Currently it doesn't open, though it stayed in hibernation all the way until early 2011.

TvPrivat (spring 2009)

To work on this sex video chat, both models and members had to download specialized software from the site and install it themselves (at least the software was free). This approach, understandably, wasn't the best thing for the user count. As if that weren't enough, the administration also started having payment problems with models, along with a rude attitude towards them.

Deluxe-Studio (spring 2009)

Didn't survive.

Tv-Girl (spring 2009)

A very strange chat it was.

Devacams (spring 2009)

Got lost among the rest.

Sex video chat PastilaPastila (late 2008)

Another sex video chat from 2008. Stood out for its pleasant design, responsive admins, and smart promotion. Started out quite well, but couldn't keep it up. It stayed accessible (though without models online) until mid-2010, after which it closed for good.

Camtop (late 2008)

Not even the name helped.

Rusgirl (late 2008)

Nothing noteworthy.

Virtcam (fall 2008)

Did anyone ever see it alive? Unknown.

Sex video chat SexykisaSexykisa (summer 2008)

This sex video chat has been known since the summer of 2008. Stood out for its aggressive PR during the promotion period. Died almost right after launching. In the summer of 2010, listings appeared online offering it up for auction with a starting price of $3,900.

PrivateShow (summer 2008)

A very touchy and clueless admin — he dreamed that models would have it good on his sex video chat. It didn't work out.

Sex video chat V PrivatyeV Privatye (summer 2008)

Operated for a few months, changed its design, got sold, died. Was friendly to both users and models.

WebcamerNet (summer 2008)

A project from the now-vanished TheRussianKings. As a promotion tactic, on its very first day of operation it offered models 200% of their earnings, then another two weeks at 100% — it didn't help.

Privatroom (spring 2008)

Launched, collected the money, and closed. Currently unavailable.

Cam4lust (spring 2008)

Died almost right after launch.

Sex video chat VirtgirlsVirtgirls (early 2008)

Lasted six months. Got caught up in a story involving the hacking of one of the first sites on the Russian market — showcam.ru. It was suggested that virtgirls.ru had tried to get rid of a strong competitor by attacking the site, though the administration of the "virtual girls" denied this in every possible way. Either way, the Virtgirls sex video chat no longer exists today.

Showcam (fall 2007)

Considered a pioneer of Russian webcam. Opened in 2007, worked well, consistently had models online. Was hacked in early 2008, as a result of which all visitors were redirected to the sex video chat virtgirls.ru. Was later sold off and closed.
