I admit I jumped the gun when, in my most complete list, I called porn videochat CamsPlanet the only one launched in 2011. At the tail end of the year, two more sites were announced that will try to compete with the current monopolists. One of these newcomers — PushMe.tv — caught my attention in particular. The thing is, PushMe's concept is quite original (at least, nobody in Russia has done anything like this before) and differs substantially from the traditional view of a porn videochat.
The general idea is this: only three models work on the site at the same time. Every hour they rotate for new ones. The same girl might only work in the chat a few times a day. You can check the schedule for the day or week ahead of time and drop by, say, only for your favorite model.
Originally PushMe was designed to be fully paid, meaning that anyone who came expecting to see naked girls for free was in for an unpleasant surprise: you can only stay in the chat if you pay. That said, the amount asked for wasn't much: from 1 to 5 rubles per minute, depending on the model's rating (the rating essentially equals the price per minute). Comparing that price to peeking even on RusCams (13-49 rubles per minute), you could say the prices here are almost laughably cheap, and that's not even mentioning privates...
Besides paying by the minute to be present in the room, one or more visitors can chip in together to pay for a "wish." Using wishes, viewers make the girls perform all sorts of naughty acts. Before starting the broadcast, the room's host herself chooses which wishes she's willing to fulfill and for how much money. Here, for example, are the wishes and their prices in the first random chat I opened: masturbation — 60 rubles, showing the pussy — 60 rubles, a golden shower — 100 rubles. By the site's rules, the model is obligated to fulfill any wish that's been paid for.
All this beauty would have remained accessible only to well-off guys, if, under pressure of circumstances, PushMe's administration hadn't revised its business model. Now a model starts broadcasting for free, but at any moment can switch her free chat over into paid mode, after which anyone in the room starts getting charged by the minute. Paid mode is also automatically triggered while the model is fulfilling a paid wish. So here's the thing! If the model hasn't manually turned on paid mode, then for some reason an unregistered user can watch everything completely for free — even her fulfilling wishes. And since the girls haven't quite gotten the hang of the new system yet, not all of them turn on paid mode, even while sitting naked in the room. So I got to watch everything I was interested in completely for free. :) I suspect, though, that this loophole will be closed soon.
Let me sum things up briefly. On the one hand, it's great that a new porn videochat has appeared; on the other — miracles don't happen, and the regulars of RusCams and Video-Girl will find familiar faces they've known for ages, just at much more modest prices. Since the chat hasn't yet built up a large enough base of models and visitors, most of the time the site features the same handful of models over and over, and often all three model slots are empty and there's simply nobody to watch (and since it uses an hourly show system, a model can't just log on whenever she feels like it). As a result, the number of viewers also leaves something to be desired. Plus there's the constant on-the-fly changing of the site's rules. So far, though, all these changes have worked in favor of those who came to admire the naughty girls for free. So, until things settle down, curious folks can definitely find a couple of loopholes for free viewing.
Despite all the shortcomings described above, PushMe has already survived its first month of operation and is gradually gaining momentum, which is why it will be placed in the "alive" section of the videochat list.
