As I recently reported, the new old porn videochat Primecams.com reopened to visitors on January 26th and... duly closed again on the 30th. Not only that, but it turned out this was a beta test, meaning all the users had been playing the role of beta testers :).
On the surface everything looked pretty solid: I regularly saw more than 15 models online, the video worked, and sometimes someone even went into a private. As for whether there were really that many girls online or they'd just been signed up for show, attempts to check whether they were actually available to chat often failed, since the porn videochat's interface is quite unfriendly and it's often impossible to tell what's happening when you click on a model.
Bottom line: the second launch pretty much repeated the script of the first one exactly: launch, apparent success, shutdown. One good thing – the models recruited to promote the videochat weren't stiffed on their pay for a second time. Well, let's wait for the third launch (I have a feeling this is already becoming a tradition).
As for the other old-new porn videochat that was also recently relaunched (I mean Luxecams.com), things are going somewhat better there for now. Although here too there's no obvious growth in activity yet. If anything, it's the opposite. We'll keep watching.
And finally, about that picture riddle. During one of my visits to the videochat I stumbled on a bright illustration of the saying "the soldier sleeps, the service goes on." As you know, right now Primecams pays girls simply for being online in the free chat (assuming they show at least some activity). And if you hover your mouse over an online model's photo on the homepage, it starts playing video from the girl's webcam showing what she's up to right now. Well, if you look closely, you can see in the screenshot that one of the models has turned her butt to the viewers, wrapped herself in a warm blanket, and is shamelessly sleeping — getting paid for it the whole time (remember, they pay for the free chat).
